Members of the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the American Payroll Association (SVAPA) will visit Sierra College to teach students about taxes and how they affect their paycheck. The teaching effort is part of a nationwide push to improve financial literacy among students. Payroll professionals will teach “Bring Home the Gold” to students at schools across the U.S. during Money Matters National Education Day.
