Rain or Shine - this event will go on. Kiwanis will have something for us to do.
Feel free to bring a snack and water.
This year, we will be giving back by volunteering for a clean up day at the Kiwanis Family House in Sacramento.
Kiwanis Family House is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing temporary housing for families of seriously ill or injured patients being treated at the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento or at Shriners Hospital. The Kiwanis Family House is a home-away-from-home for families who must travel at least 35 miles from home to seek medical treatment.
This will be a clean up event, please wear comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting dirty, and no open toed shoes. They are open until 5pm however; you do not have to stay until then; any time volunteering is greatly appreciated.
